The Best Businesswomen Awards announced their winners for 2022 at a Gala Awards evening held at the Hilton, Wembley.
Businesswoman Emma Carroll, from Choose to Grow, won Best Coach in this prestigious
competition which seeks to find the very best female business talent from across the UK
and Internationally.
Choose to Grow provide executive coaching services to leaders in large scale organisations. As Leadership and Resilience experts, they offer learning and development solutions to organisations, putting people at the core of their work to drive change without compromising wellbeing.
Despite another challenging twelve months, the tenacity and resilience of female
entrepreneurs shone through. All winners, selected by a panel of business experts,
demonstrated a flair for entrepreneurship, business acumen and an abundance of sheer
determination.
The Best Businesswomen Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of female
owned businesses and charities across a wide range of sectors and are open to any female business owners.
Debbie Gilbert, the organiser of The Best Businesswomen Awards, said, ‘Owning a business
brings incredible challenges. Our awards are designed to showcase female entrepreneurs and recognise their achievements. The judge’s selection process is rigorous and to win is a major achievement. Winners were selected for their business expertise, innovation, and high levels of customer care. Our winners are shining examples of outstanding entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges and have shown they have the ingredients worthy of being recognised and rewarded.”
The judges commented that Emma combines experience and innovative thinking. Her business utilises resilience tools to help guide organisations and understand the resilience levels of their workforce, and then builds interventions to improve their resilience. A great example of where innovation meets passion! This business is professional throughout making a real difference to organisations and their staff.
Emma Carroll comments:
“First of all I cannot believe I won! Thank you to all the organisers, sponsors, and judges of this event. It was an incredible night and a testing and exciting judging process to be part of. I am honoured to have won the Best Coach category. I would like to give credit to all the other silver finalists, you all have amazing businesses so congratulations to you all.”
"There were also some personal highlights for me from attending these awards that I didn't expect. The first was getting to meet the host on the night Professional Actress/Humorous Motivational Speaker/Host/Presenter/MC/Entrepreneur Clare Hingott. We hit it off straight away, and now we have a partnership collaboration in the pipeline and she has agreed to be my guest on the Pivot Leadership Podcast in the new year. Secondly, I was asked to feature as a guest on another Leadership podcast, and thirdly I met Krushma Makwana a Silver Finalist in my category and she agreed to join my associate team in January - that's the power of networking."
This is the second award in 2 months for Emma Carroll and the team at Choose to Grow. Check out their other recent scoop - HR Consultancy of the Year at the Wales HR Network Awards - you can read the press release here.
